The book not only tells Sofies story, but also the stories of other girls. It tells as well about the big misunderstanding there is about the treatment for ED, here in Danmark, which is still based to a large degree on reward and punishment techniques. My wife wrote the book and I illustrated it, in the hope it will help parents and ED patients to see the need for humanity, warmth, hope and understanding. Hopefully it will help to change the treatment system to.
